I want to watch... but I just can't listen to the poor guy say what happened to him. I guess I'm weak.

I wouldn't consider being unable to bear the intense suffering of another human being a sign of weakness. It's an indication that you have compassion for the man - you feel his pain.
You're not weak.. don't worry...
